Dionysios Tsentikopoulos is teaching staff at the research laboratory of Byzantine and post-Byzantine Studies at the Department of History and Ethnology of the Democritus University of Thrace.
He obtained his undergraduate degree in Theology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He also obtained an undergraduate degree in History and Ethnology from the Democritus University of Thrace. He received his Specialization Diploma from the Department of Postgraduate Studies of the Faculty of Theology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and was awarded a Doctorate by the same School. He completed two years of Postdoctoral Research at the Department of History and Ethnology of the Democritus University of Thrace.
The field of his scientific and research interest concentrates on History, Grammatology and the History and Evolution of ideological currents in the late Byzantine and post-Byzantine period.
