Sgouropoulos Kyriakos

Kyriakos Sgouropoulos is a Laboratory Teaching Staff member at the Department of Humanities of Democritus University of Thrace. He studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace, where he completed his master’s and doctoral studies in digital image processing and gesture recognition. He teaches courses in educational technology, digital tools, and research methodology, and has extensive experience in digital documentation and cultural heritage projects, with an emphasis on GIS applications, machine learning, and the development of digital repositories. He has published in international journals and conferences and actively participates in research projects that combine technology with the humanities and archaeological research.
